Auditions

Membership in Atlanta’s Chorale New Creation (ACNC) is by audition only. Candidates will be asked to sing a prepared solo, vocalize to demonstrate their range and tonal memory. In addition, candidates will be asked to harmonize a few phrases from a prepared song. The audition generally takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. While site reading is not a requirement it will be considered.

 

The audition committee consists of the artistic director, two representatives from the music committee and 1 or 2 chorus members. Auditions are typically held during the month of January; however, we make allowances during the year for positions that become available.
